Reports To: Director of Aviation Training ... Position: PART TIME 25 - 30 hours/week.

Essential functions and Job duties include but not limited to… A small business in the Renton-Bellevue area is looking for a Part Time Customer Service Representative to facilitate day-to-day operations and provide customer service and technical support. The successful candidate will communicate important information about the products and services ASA provides and respond to customer inquiries, guide customers through the purchasing process, make product or service recommendations and resolve complaints or technical concerns around sales orders. Minimum 1 year customer service, administrative, or technical support experience. Proficient with Windows operating systems and Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Requires good verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and computer skills, disciplined approach to task priorities and project follow-up, and a helpful, friendly and energetic disposition. Familiarity with Acumatica or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) cloud, Microsoft Dynamics or other midmarket ERP system, knowledge of electronic books (eBooks) and software applications to include Adobe Digital Editions, and aviation experience/knowledge a plus. Candidate needs strong communication and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, be reliable and meet all deadlines. Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:
• Maintain part time business hours (M-F, 25-30 hours/week).
• Have flexibility to work additional hours to cover for staff while out of office.
• Answer phones
• Manage mail (incoming, outgoing)
• Maintain reception area and small pilot shop
• Welcome visitors, process walk-in sales
• Light cleaning (kitchen duty)
• Same-day response to customer inquiries (email, phone, mail, fax)
• Provide Catalogs and Graduation Certificates as requested
• Test pilot supplies per instructions provided
• Assist in updating textbooks and various publications
• Order entry
• Customer service support (inquiries around existing or planned orders, shipments, invoices, account status)
• Provide technical support to customers
• Support ASA staff with customer service
Other Competencies and Requirements:
• Good organization and communication skills with attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work collaboratively with staff.
• Maintain current and effective computer skills involving ERP, internet browser, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
• Sensitive data and information must be safe-guarded and maintained with discretion.
• Must be task oriented and focus on accuracy.
• Comply with the Employment Policies and the Employee Handbook, maintaining confidentiality of staff, vendor and customer information and conducting self in a professional manner at all times.
• Attend all meetings as directed.
• Ability to effectively communicate with remote employees.
• Aviation knowledge a plus.
