Responsibilities
Our Laundry Attendants are primarily responsible for cleaning various types of linens. You will need to be able to load and unload dryers with up to 90 pounds of linen at a minimum of 25 times per day, fold a minimum of 15 large carts of linen per day and / or iron for a duration of 8 hours per day.
You will be drying, folding and ironing linen, and i nspecting all washed and dried linen for stains, tears, damage. You will also be a ssisting the washer with sorting linen as it is delivered by the House Person.
The compensation for this opportunity is $12.50 per hour.
Qualifications
You will need to have a high school diploma or GED. You will also need to be physically able to clean public buildings that vary in size from 500 square feet to 7000 square feet.
This includes pushing equipment such as a vacuum, using chemicals, bending at the knees and waist regularly, lifting with the arms regularly and walking and / or standing for 8 hours with a 30-minute break.
You will need to be dependable and guest service oriented. You will have to be able to work with strong chemicals, and safely use chemicals for cleaning purposes.
