Prime Air is seeking an experienced Product Manager Technical, to build and support our Delivery Experience in Europe, initially focused on United Kingdom and Italy. You will own building the European delivery locations experience for Prime Air and specifically gather and design against our customer needs for ultra-fast drone delivery. You will work with partner teams and stakeholders across Amazon such as Post-Checkout Experience, Recipient Experience and Geospatial teams. As part of this role, within Prime Air, you will work cross-functionally with Program, Business Development, Software Engineering, Marketing, UX Research and Design, Drone teams, and other technology partners.
The right candidate will be able to leverage their technical depth to partner closely with engineers and will play a key role in defining and executing on the end-to-end strategy. This role will encompass owning and leading the definition of where drone delivery customers receive and how they track their packages in Europe. The right candidate will support hardware design, and complete hardware and software integration, testing, and launch.
The successful candidate will build closed loop processes and measures to ensure adoption of products and processes so that improvements are realized. This candidate will also have proven ability to assess situations and guide teams toward both short-term and longer-term systemic changes. The ideal candidate will possess an analytic, statistical and optimization background to enable strategic planning and strategic service initiatives planning. In this role you will experience a wide range of problem-solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the requirements, design, and development of Prime Air’s post-order tracking and notifications for delivery locations in Europe
- Develop culture of experimentation and innovation to solve core customer needs by providing relevant, speed-sensitive feedback to our engineering teams
- Support hardware design and convey requirements for hardware and software products to enable drone deliveries at scale
- Work across system teams, designers, launch PMs, and others to enable state-of-the-art technology
- Implement reporting mechanisms to track performance, iterate on solutions and implement enhancements based on data and customer feedback
- Build hardware and software test plans to validate business requirements
- Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and address any hardware or software issues identified during validation
