What You'll Be Doing:
• Pick production supplies from warehouse and staging areas and deliver to the designated area.
• By schedule or upon request, pick up materials or empty containers from production areas and transport to the warehouse or other departments
• Performs various required GMP cleaning duties
• Using the Enterprise Resource Planning software (AS400) and Production Operations Management System (POMS) access and update inventory locations if vital
• Change out batteries as vital
• Advise the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
• Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
• Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
What You'll Bring
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to connect with other team members.
• Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Possess or be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck Certification and Battery Changing Qualification
• Basic digital literacy required.
• Previous experience with a forklift preferred
• CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level, preferred
• Physical Requirements
• The position can involve lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds and pushing up to 55 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
• Must be able to pass the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) physical
• Must be able to operate foot controls, bend/stoop, squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balance
