The Amazon Stores Learning & Development (ASLD) team is looking for an experienced designer to help develop our functional training products. ASLD supports Amazon employees across the world with localized training content. Our Learning Experience Designers (LXD) are customer-obsessed, creative, and curious. This team builds scalable learning products to reach thousands of employees, creating new and updating existing training to deliver relevant, valuable, and efficient learning experiences.
An ideal candidate is driven, talented, and experienced with all elements of graphic, visual design, branding, animation, and video creation. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, experience managing simple and complex projects, and working with multiple stakeholders. They must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to present and defend their design decisions to leadership. HTML and CSS knowledge is a preferred qualification in order to support the creation of web-style pages as part of the team branding and communication strategy.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Product and Program Managers, stakeholders, or subject-matter experts (SMEs) to build learning experiences (eLearning modules, videos, infographics, communication templates, etc.).
• Design templates, graphic content, illustrations, infographics, animations, video and wiki pages to support learners worldwide.
• Manage multiple complex development projects from conception to delivery.
• Develop and strengthen ASLD brand assets, including style and brand guidelines, and ensure brand consistency throughout various projects.
• Support ASLD engagement strategy by creating and deploying engaging communications.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and contribute with innovation and new ways of producing and delivering training products.
• Support and present your design work using insights from quantitative data and site metrics, segmentation and customer feedback.

Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
• HTML and CSS knowledge and experience supporting web page creation.
• A proven track record of managing complex projects, balancing shifting priorities to meet budget, timing, and quality requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs, global stakeholders, and managers.
• Familiarity with SCORM files and Learning Management System (LMS) portals.
• Proficient with elearning tools such as Articulate 360 suite or Adobe Captivate; Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and collaboration tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
