Housekeeper: Harbor Terrace is looking for experienced and dedicated Housekeeper ... Primary Job Duties:
• Responsible for all housekeeping throughout community and on designated floors/apartments.
• Provide great customer service when working with residents and family members.
• Ensure that all assigned rooms are cleaned by the end of your shift.
• Provide deep cleans for rooms on a rotating schedule.
• Mop and dry flooring in the resident, public restrooms, and communal spaces throughout the community.
• Vacuuming resident rooms and public carpeted areas to keep them free of debris.
• Make beds for the residents daily, changing linens weekly.
• Take out the trash of all resident rooms in your assigned area daily.
• Responsible for maintaining and keeping housekeeping cart stocked, organized and properly stored.
• Ensure that all chemicals are locked in the cart and unable to be accessed without key.
• Cleaning of bathrooms (private and in common areas).
• Maintaining cleanliness in front lobby, common areas, community room/areas.
• Keep all areas to be free from clutter (trash, dust, odor, stains).
• Provide dusting and cleaning for resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with cleaning up accidents and incidents when they occur.
• Assist with routine community deep cleans, including windows, baseboards, etc.
• Maintain community and assigned floor in a clean and presentable manner for all tours.
• Greet guests and tours in a kind and warm manner.
• Communicate residents’ issues/concerns to supervisor and management team in a timely manner.
• Pay attention to detail and communicate any need for supplies, linens etc.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must have weekend availability.
Requirements:
• Fingerprint clearance as required through the DOJ & FBI.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• At least one (1) year relevant experience with seniors.
• Current TB test.
• Must be able to speak & write English
• High School Diploma
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
