Order Selector (Part-time ... Smart & Final is searching for an experienced Order Selector (Part-time) for our Distribution Center in Commerce, CA, located at 5500 Sheila Street, Commerce, CA 90040.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Order Selector (Part-time) reports to the DistributionArea Manager and is responsible for selecting items in the warehouse to fillorders requested by the store or other customers. We are looking for self-motivatedindividuals with Order Selector experience.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Picks up equipment at assigned area and completes the safetycheck list.
• Obtains required pallets.
• Obtains order information by picking up a Talkman unit atthe Control Center. Talkman unit determines items to be gathered, as well aslocation and sequence of collection.
• Assembles customer orders from stock. Places cases onpallets. Places label on completed pallets.
• Takes pallets to shrink wrap machine to secure the productand places pallets in the correct door assigned to that load.
• Returns equipment at the end of shift, cleaning andmaintaining work area and equipment.

Shift Times:
