General Description : Performs laundry services as assigned.
Duties :
Sorts, washes, dries, and folds laundry using appropriate techniques to separate clean and dirty laundry.
Removes lint from dryers every 4 hours or more often if necessary to prevent lint build up.
Removes torn, stained linens from service.
Assures equipment is running as intended. Reports problems to Supervisor.
Cross trains in housekeeping. May fill in for the housekeeping department upon occasion.
Attends and participates in committees, training programs and staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability and Experience requirements :
Must have criminal record clearance.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
