- Overview of the Role ... We are seeking a General Labor Associate to join our dynamic factory environment in Tulare, California. As a General Labor Associate, you will be responsible for adjusting equipment during production, completing pre-start checklists, and monitoring and maintaining inventory. 2. Responsibilities:
a. Adjust equipment during production as necessary. b. Complete pre-start checklists. c. Set up, monitor, and maintain the ink coders, verifying codes, proper coding, and adjusting as necessary. d. Load, monitor, and maintain stock, including bar wrap, cartons, spoons, corrugate, and shrink wrap, and check for proper country and flavor. e. Monitor and maintain supply of hot melt glue, turning it on/off, maintaining glue level, and troubleshooting and adjusting as necessary. f. Complete quality checks, ensuring cartons/cases are square and sealed properly, checking glue patterns, and ensuring bars are wrapped properly and checking seal. g. Document rerun chocolate usage. h. Complete appropriate documentation, including code verification and downtime sheets. i. Perform product changeovers, including sku product changeovers during production and changes in product configuration, and contact the Palletizer operator with changeover information. j. Complete OPMs and inspect equipment for unusual or excessive wear. k. Perform sanitation critical record checks. l. Participate in troubleshooting of micro and environmental issues. m. Provide assistance to Ice Cream Maker Level III operator. n. Responsible for training new Ice Cream Maker Level I. 3. Qualifications:
a. High school diploma or equivalent required. b. 0 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. c. Ability to stand for 8 hours at one time and work up to 16 hours of overtime per week. d. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. e. Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office. f. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a non-temperature controlled environment. g. Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions. h. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. i. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. j. Available to work varying shifts and schedules as needed. Benefits:
