The essence of this role //
The Receptionist meets and greets patients and provides operational administrative support in a medical and wellness practice.
What you will do //
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, process medical records, check-in and check-out patients
• Create charts for new patients, ensuring policy of noting allergy warnings and two methods of identification are followed
• Assist in the preparation and processing of correspondence as needed
• Inform patients of services or products available at the clinic
• Verify patient data and payment options to ensure it is updated for accurate billing, inputting updated information into system as required
• Assesses new patient charts waiting to be seen and appropriately handle established patient charts
• Other duties as assigned
What you need to have //
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Docs and Sheets
• Ability to deal with data that is of a sensitive and confidential nature (HIPAA).
• Relevant experience
• Superior communication and patient service skills
• Ability to multitask and experience working in a fast paced environment
What would be nice to have //
• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Experience using EMR software

• Week day and weekend shifts available
• $2.00 shift differential for working Saturdays and Sundays.
• This role can also earn commission on products/services sold to patients

• Monday – 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Tuesday - 10:00am - 6:00pm
• Wednesday – 10:00pm – 6:00pm
• Thursday – 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Friday – 10:00am – 9:00pm
• Saturday - 10:00am - 9:00pm
