Who We Are Searching For
SaltBlock Hospitality is seeking a positive + hard-working hospitality professional to grow with their Catering Division. Event Lead’s are responsible for managing the on-site catering team through set-up, event execution and breakdown of off-site catering events. Responsibilities & Deliverables
The Banquet FOH Lead is responsible for the following:
• Work alongside the SaltBlock Hospitality Operations, Staffing, and Sales teams to thoroughly understand and execute the event from setup through completion.
• Understand key event information, roles, and responsibilities for Setup, Production, and Breakdown.
• Display leadership and managerial skills by setting clear expectations, delegating tasks, and holding the Event Team accountable for adhering to event timelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Chef Lead to manage and oversee the Event Team to successfully execute successful events.
• Maintain the face of SaltBlock Hospitality on all events, including direct communication with venues, event planners and primary clients.
• Responsible for all catering assets and team members on-site, holds team members accountable for respecting assets, guests, venues, and peers.
• Communicate post-event feedback to the Operations and Staffing Team to continuously improve the Event Team and enhance future business and success.
• Maintain a clean cut +professional appearance on events; hold Event Team accountable for adhering to the same standard.
• Timeline driven and detail oriented, with the ability to pivot with client needs as necessary.
• Maintains a positive, go-getter attitude!
Candidate Must Possess
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 10+ lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Hospitality experience required, Bartending experience preferred.

Compensation: $21.00/hr
Position-Type: Part-Time, Seasonal
• with opportunity for additional hours through different positions, concepts and throughout catering season
