Job Description:
The Monster Group has openings for 1st shift (7:30a – 4:00p) Picker/Packers for our shipping facility. Previous experience as a picker or similar role in a warehouse setting is highly desired but is not required as we will provide adequate training and development opportunities for the right candidates ... The Picker/Packer is responsible for picking and packing products based on customers’ orders. A Picker/Packer should have a positive attitude and great attention to detail as they are required to accurately read orders, FIFO inventory (First in, first out), and verify that the items picked match the pick tickets. Picker/Packers should thrive in environments that require them to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Primarily responsible for the picking and packing of product SKUs for customers’ orders.
• Maintains accurate order picking and packing per Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Completes orders in a correct and timely manner to ensure they are received on time.
• Follows good manufacturing practices maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e., Stand-Up Forklifts, Forklifts, and Electrical Pallet Jacks).
• Inspects all incoming product coming from the production facility for product quality and accuracy.
• Provides support to other members of the team within the shipping warehouse.
