Everything After the Ring is a wedding planning and floral design boutique in Charleston, SC. We are looking to add an event assistant to our team! The assistant will mainly be responsible for assisting the planning team with execution of event as well as setup and breakdown. This position is mostly weekends with the occasional weekday wedding.
Requirements ... -able to work most weekends (at least 3 a month)
-must have reliable transportation
-must be able to lift 20+ lbs
-able to work flexible shifts (some shifts are just setup and breakdown, some shifts are setup/breakdown + assisting of event)
-a team player!since we are responsible for the planning and floral side of weddings, each team member must be willing to cross over and assist where needed
-have a strong passion for weddings and events
Typical duties of wedding event assistant:
-setup of furniture according to floor plan
-linen placement and place setting arranging
-candle and basic floral arrangement placement
-setup of couple's personal decor
-coordinating, assisting and communicating with vendor/venue team
-trash clean up and removal
