Warehouse Associate’s Responsibilities:
• Organization of the warehouse
• Assisting customers in the showroom, and working the counter when necessary ... • Utilize computer to help assist customers
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Receiving: verifying packing slips, product and receiving product in P21
• Labeling: all products must be labeled prior to putting away with the item listed on the PO
• Put aways: performed daily
• Shipping both to external customers and internal customers in a timely fashion
• Shipping Transfers: Each Branch location has a designated day of the week to ship a transfer. This will mitigate shipping costs. We will only ship in addition to if there is a customer emergency/order pending. If not, the additional items will be transferred the following week
• Scheduling pick-ups and shipments primarily through our TMS, selecting the best quoted carrier
• Pulling Customer orders as needed in a timely fashion
• Cycle Counting as required and within the hour of request
• Housekeeping- Keeping the warehouse clean, floor free of debris and trash, unnecessary boxes, etc.
Requirements:
• Forklift experience/ certification preferred
• Computer literacy and ability to learn basics of company software
• Preferably be fluent in English and Spanish
• Clean driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently
• Able to handle multiple tasks at once
• Able to follow instructions accurately
Physical Inventories as required: This will not be a regular 8-hour shift. Physical Inventory is an all-hands-on deck project performed quarterly, bi-annual, or annual based on business needs. All are mandatory to participate this includes both Warehouse associates and drivers. Management will disclose hours required based on needs at that time. All must be flexible with availability during this time and work collectively as a team
