We are seeking an experienced Principal Business Development Manager- Tech (Pr. BDT) to recruit and engage automotive sellers for strategic partnerships ... The Pr.BDT will advocate internally and externally on behalf of Amazon. The Pr.BDT should have proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task and a proven record of driving growth. The Pr.BDT must be an effective driver and communicator in working with other key stakeholders, including top automotive seller groups, account managers, product teams, and senior leadership.
You will influence and build relationships with top seller groups to drive revenue and increase selection coverage. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple teams.
Using your deep knowledge of the Automotive landscape, and your solution-oriented mindset, you will develop opportunities for Amazon. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively cross-functional teams. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiation.

• Generate leads through leveraging other areas of business in Amazon and/or networking at industry events with the top seller groups
• Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the top seller groups in the industry.
• Foster strong relationships with large seller groups to ensure a collaborative and productive partnership.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with sellers, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive partnership environment.
• Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors

Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• 7+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years of experience with sales tools such as Digital Retail, Desking, CRM(Salesforce) or similar software
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing GTM strategies
• 3+ years of experience building scalable processes and sales playbooks
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing and deploying new sales initiatives at top automotive seller group
• Experience presenting to SVP and C-level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
