ABOUT THIS JOB
Field crew members are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, as well as delivery, setup and safe installation of various rental products. Crew members will work under the direction of a team leader or event producer (and sometimes a client) to install tents, tables, chairs, lighting, stages, dance floors, décor, and more. On-the-job training is available for candidates who do not have much, if any, experience. You will be working inside and outside multiple days during the week, rain or shine, because as they say in the production world: the show must go on.
The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who possesses a willingness to learn, adapt to new challenges, and contribute to a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will be trained in handling various moving tasks while performing physically demanding work.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, identify and verify number.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds assisted.
• Household / Commercial moving experience is a plus but not needed.
• Lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles.
• Perform various moving tasks, including packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking household or commercial items.
• Safely and efficiently operate moving equipment, including dollies, hand trucks, and ramps. (Fork lift certification a plus)
• Assist in organizing and inventorying items prior to loading and unloading to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute moving strategies effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or damage.
• Uphold company values and maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
