We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator to work at our new Distribution Center in Louisville, KY. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our continued growth at Corona Tools!
The Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator is responsible for meeting daily goals that include safety, quality, accuracy, and performance. Our kitting/light assembly processes ... involve using hand tools to assemble store displays and the packaging of a variety of Corona hand tools. For example, one day kitting and assembling wheelbarrows and another day working on rakes, clippers, and pruners. In addition, the Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator assists with ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organized. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to lift up to 50 Lbs. They must also be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator Essential Functions:
• Lifts heavy objects up to 50Lbs. by hand and/or moves material in a safe manner using a hand truck, electric powered forklift, or other material handling equipment.
• Performs cycle counting as directed.
• Keeps work area, machines, and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Attends training classes as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Warehouse, Production, Light Assembly experience.
• Fork truck experience preferred and/or ability to train.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator Working Conditions:
• Warehouse environment. Rarely temperature controlled.
• Training may occur on site throughout the year.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with equipment. Must be able to safely lift 30-50 pounds.
Warehouse Kitting/Light Assembly Operator Physical Demands:
• Sit, stand, walk, and move about the warehouse 8 or more hours per day on concrete floors.
• Talk and hear in a warehouse environment.
• Use hands and fingers to type, write, and use our computer system.
• Stoop, lift, and bend.
