Production & Packaging Technicians report to the Production & Packaging Manger

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
β’ Assist in canning operation, including setup and breakdown of packaging lines, box building, pack off, walk in organization
β’ Learn to operate canning line and associated equipment
β’ Cleaning, organizing, and maintenance of all packaging equipment, inventory, and raw materials
β’ General janitorial work, i.e., cleaning stainless parts, sweep and scrub floors, duty, etc.
β’ Shipping and receiving help
Qualified candidates should:
β’ Have basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate machinery, including a forklift
β’ Maintain organization, discipline, be detail oriented with the ability to multitask
β’ Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
β’ Have a willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
β’ Have the ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments, move and maneuver 100+lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, twist and crouch repeatedly while working in a loud, fast paced environment.
β’ Be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a 10-hour shift
β’ Be able to bend, twist and stoop repeatedly during a 10-hour shift
