The Auto Palletizer position is responsible for a variety of duties that relate to monitoring equipment that palletizes product. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, maintenance, crane monitors, Resources, PMOs, AM Sanitation, 5s/Centerline, CIL. In addition, you must demonstrate ability for self-direction, strong time management and organizational skills ... Work is performed in a loud warehouse environment with minimal heating or air conditioning. Weekend and Holiday work is required and overtime may be required.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Actively participates in the Shipping Core Team process while utilizing Team Tools. Works with and maintains communication with other department teams, working with the teams, operating, conveying, sorting, palletizing, and stretch wrapping equipment & goods in the Shipping Department.
• Cleans and lubricates equipment. Clears jams and maintains equipment. Makes minor adjustments when needed. Stores product, hand palletizes finished product when needed, finishes trailers as needed. Completes shipping records as required.
• Performs other work as assigned in house
• Required to stay on top of Master Sanitation Schedule for Shipping.
• Re-warehousing and assisting other classifications when needed.
• Other duties as assigned
GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Operate a robotic system-program and troubleshoot stacker, program product codes, validate case count/zone
Troubleshoot robotics to ensure efficiency
Initiate changeovers
General knowledge of Lock out Tag out (LOTO) safety protocol with ability to learn specialized safety procedures
Manually palletize as needed
Maintain a safe and sanitary work area
Report safety deficiencies Set up palletizing boards in proper areas
Perform sanitation duties to ensure health and safety compliance
Ensure accurate flow of finished goods on the conveyor system
Utilize computer terminals to input or request information based on production schedule
Perform end-of-shift reconciliations
Return no read cases to the production area
Ensure periodic Inventory Control System (ICS) utilization
Operate forklift as necessary
Participate in team meetings
All other duties as assigned
