Serves as Postal Clerk Carrier in the Post Office, Department of Behavioral Health, Saint Elizabeths Hospital. Performs a variety of administrative and postal services within and outside the mail facility. Provides information to consumers and employees concerning postal regulations, mailing restrictions, rates, and other matters involving postal and non-postal communications. Determines mailing ... rates of various classes and types of mail destined for domestic and foreign points. Accepts and/or delivers parcel post, insured, C.O.D., and registered mail; makes collection of required postage, issues necessary receipts, and delivers general delivery mail. Sorts incoming regular mail and other non-postal communications. Collects mail from various locations within the Hospital.
Qualifications
In addition to meeting the basic requirement, this position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.

Must possess a high school diploma or a certificate of equivalency (GED)

Experience applying knowledge of U.S. postal service rules, regulations, and procedures.
