Summary:
To collect and issue soiled/clean room linens to the floors.
Collect rubbish from the floor service areas.
To collect guest laundry from pantries and deliver them to the housekeeping.
To assist with guest requests as needed.

Essential Functions:
To work as a member of the Laundry Department providing and maintaining a clean and sanitary laundry product for guests as well as maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment properly and reporting any equipment concerns or problems to the Building Services team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents by programming laundry machines.
Operates laundry machinery such as washers, driers, and ironers.
Starts machine that automatically washes and rinses articles.
Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into driers for measured time cycles.
Sorts dried articles according to type.
Folds and places items in the appropriate storage areas.
Sorts torn and stained articles.
Sorts and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry requisitions.
Soaks contaminated articles and processes in the destaining cycle.

Prior experience preferred.

Linen carts and scale, room attendant cart Working Environment:
Will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to use hands, arms, and fingers.
Frequently requires standing and walking.
Hours:
Due to the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, night shifts, and/or overtime.
Also, depending on the season, hours may be reduced at any time.
