Warehouse Operator 2
Job Objective ... Maintaining a safe working environment. Load and unload railcars and trucks of bagged sugar to maintain an inventory of product to meet the needs of various customers. Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
Summary of Responsibilities
Unload boxcars and trucks of bagged sugar and store in the warehouse for delivery to meet the needs of various customers.
Clean, inspect, and prepare railcars and trucks for the loading of sugar to be shipped to various customers.
Prepare orders for transfer of sugar to bulk trucks to be shipped to various customers using gravity hoppers.
Maintain a safe working environment by following all the safety rules and procedures including the effective use of all safety devices and equipment.
Communicate orally and in writing, read and understand oral and written policies, safety and environmental requirements, and other company policies.
Keep proper documentation on all orders and maintain proper inventory control procedures.
Ensuring that all railcars and trucks are properly sealed, and all paperwork is accurately filled out and given to the clerk for keying into the system.
Assist in making sure all empty inbound railcars are properly released by cleaning, shutting doors, and removing deployed derailers.
Maintain AIB and/or SQF standards throughout the warehouse and storage facilities.
Assist in the maintenance, sanitation, and overall cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding grounds.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to two years of forklift experience and/or training.
Specialized Training
Good manufacturing practices training
Certificates and Licenses
Valid driver’s license and/or State Issued ID.
