GENERAL FUNCTION:
Manage all bank products and process a variety of MSB transactions for MSB customers. Establish new and increase existing customer account relationships by cross selling bank products while servicing existing relationships ... ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Customer Service - Meeting and exceeding customer's various expectations and solving customer problems and inquiries:
• Preparing new account documentation
• Open new accounts on the Metavante system
• Return item instructions
• Statement instructions and rendering
• Prepare account files
• Request money order download set-ups
• Order supplies including:
• Checks
• Deposit tickets
• Endorsement stamps
• Wire transfers
• Account transfers (focus to sell web products)
• Help maintain customer account lists (focus to sell web products)
• Cash ordering set-up:
• Emergency cash orders
• Set ordering limits
• Request PIN numbers for phone and online systems
• Loan payment and line of credit advance/repayment processing
• Research on inquiries concerning cash deliveries, pick-ups, errors in debits or credits posting to accounts
• Issuing provisional credits
• Preparing tax payments for clients
• Loan processing and coordinating:
• Credit files - Organize files for new borrowers and updating information
• Loan processing
• Closing checklists
• Verifying that credit checks, web searches, and tax lien and judgement searches have been completed and approved
• Preparing loan closing packages
• Preparing loan packages for funding including:
• Collections and perfection of collateral, i.e. stock certificates and mortgages
• Verification of signatures and documents
• Post-Funding including follow up on collateral, insurance, and verification of booking and funding.
• Other office work as needing including:
• Copying, faxing, scanning
• Account maintenance including changes of address, billing errors, etc.
• Special projects
• Focus is currently on Illinois clientele
