Summary: This position is responsible for guiding contracted companies' abilities to perform and uphold their assigned duties to run efficiently through a close monitoring of service levels in order to ensure productive, efficient, and profitable operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ... -Serve as a lead in charge in coordinating specific operations
-Ensure all required airport duties, operational needs and monitoring that all staff are properly following company procedures as directed by supervisors and managers
-Perform any other customer service functions as directed by Supervisors and Managers
-Assist Supervisors and Managers in all aspects of the operations at the airport, which include departure, arrival and ramp
-Verify invoices for A/R
-Prepare training materials, training Staff as necessary
-Resolve any kind of problems which may occur and any required post work as directed by supervisor and managers
-Coordinate with Tokyo headquarters and other airport stations for resolutions of recurring service problems or irregularities
-Coordinate with other airlines, government authorities, etc. to ensure effective relationships
-Cooperate with customer service supervisors
-Perform post-departure functions
-Oversee designated special assignments
-Support supervisors and management during any flight irregularity
-Cover for other Staff (including other stations, when requested by management)
-Prepare reports as necessary, including monthly statistical reports to be presented at Airport Staff meetings
-Perform any other administrative functions as directed by Supervisors and Managers
-Assist Flight Operations Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers in conducting all flight operations duties
-Assist the decision-making process regarding the safety of flight operations
-Review and file flight plans and briefing crews concerning flight plans, routings, meteorological conditions, and NOTAMs
-Coordinate ANA personnel and contractors responsible for fuel distribution, aircraft maintenance, load instruction, and aircraft weight and balance
-Maintain awareness of meteorology reports and assisting Flight Operations Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers to adjust flight plans accordingly
-Ensure that ANA and FAA regulations concerning weather operations are enforced
-Exchange information with ATC, FAA, and JCAB to ensure flight operations adhere to all regulatory and airport requirements
-Assist Flight Operations Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers regarding the implementation and observance of emergency plans by all Staff and contractors
-Ensure the confidentiality of flight planning and security information
-Maintain all technical manuals, including ATC and weather information
-Perform any other functions as directed by Flight Operations Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers
-Prior to assigning these duties, necessary training will be provided by the Company.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

Must have the right to work in the United States

Must have a valid Driver’s License

At least 2 years of experience in passenger service.

Previous work experience as ramp agent or similar role (preferred).

Professional presentation and excellent customer service skills

Willing to work any hours/shifts/holidays/weekends

Proficiency in MS Office

Understanding in diverse cultures
Education/Experience:
• High School diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two years of related customer service experience required.
• Experience in the Airline/Travel industry required.
• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Accounting software.
