As a Call Center Support Representative for StorSafe, you will be the first point of contact for customers calling in to inquire about StorSafe self storage properties. You will provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with rentals, answering questions about storage unit sizes, locations, availability, tenant insurance, and collections. You will process payments and address any concerns or issues they may have.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Handle inbound calls, emails, and communications from customers in a timely manner.
· Utilize company software to ensure organized and efficient follow-up.
· Provide accurate information regarding unit availability, pricing, and promotions.
· Assist customers in making reservations, processing rental agreements, and adding tenant insurance.
· Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
· Identify and resolve the root cause of customer issues.
· Update customer account information and process payments as needed.
· Coordinate with on-site property managers to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
· Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues.
· Maintain a high level of knowledge about company locations, policies, procedures, and services.
· Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
· Adhere to call center performance metrics, including call handling time and customer satisfaction targets.
· Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
· Must have previous experience in a call center or customer service role.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with computers and an ability to learn new systems quickly with training.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Bilingual: Spanish Speaking is a plus.
· Typing speed - 40 wpm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
