FRONT DESK AGENT
Job Summary ... We are open 24/7, and we do need an employee that can work flexible hours and weekends.
Shift times are 7-3pm and 3pm-11:15pm

We are seeking an upbeat, professional individual to serve as a guest service representative for the Hotel Elkhart! Our guest service agents are our guests’ first and last impression, and we need an individual dedicated to providing quality and genuine service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities And Duties
Some duties include:
• Reserve rooms, answer phone calls, provide a concierge service to our guests, act as the ambassador of the hotel, and work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to provide excellent guest service.
• Be sales-minded as our front desk will have to listen closely to our guests to provide the best room and/or package options for their particular needs.
• Handle all guest requests as well as act as a receptionist for management and all hotel guests.
• Act as a cashier taking cash and credit cards for room payment and gift shop purchases.
Qualifications And Skills
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbal.
• Ability to handle guest complaints in stride, while being able to think on your feet with resolving any issues.
• Knowledgeable with computers and will need to be able to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Willing and able to learn our reservation program.
