We have immediate entry level openings for Case Sealer (2nd & 3rd shift) in our clean, updated and air-conditioned manufacturing facility centrally located in DFW in Mansfield TX.

2nd shift- Monday- Friday 3pm- 11pm
3rd shift- Sunday- Thursday 11pm- 7am

SUMMARY: Case Sealers receive packed and sealed cases of product from the gluer line and ensure each case is properly labeled and stacked in accordance with job ticket instructions. Case Sealers serve as an additional quality checkpoint for customer product as they prepare cases for shipping and help to safeguard customer product is received per customer instructions / expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes but not limited to the following:
• Apply tape to each case coming off the delivery end of the gluers. The tape must be straight and uniform on the box.
• Attach correct label.
• Lift the case, turn, and stack the case on a pallet with labels showing to the outside. Follow stacking arrangements for each case size listed on the job ticked such as number of layers and maximum height (approximately 65 inches from the floor).
• Place tie sheet between each layer to keep higher cases from falling over. Call the stock puller when a pallet is full and ready to be moved.
• The Case Sealer is responsible for putting a new pallet down within designated floor area.
• Keep floor and work area clean, empty trash cans located around machine.
• Perform all jobs in a safe and efficient manner; report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Follow all instructions issued and notify supervisor of any problems that would result in lost production.
• Adjust to and follow new procedures and innovations that would add to the efficiency and safety of the operation.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Stable and dependable work history.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Also required to stand for long periods of time and walk.
• Required vision abilities - close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Safety minded, able and willing to understand and follow all written and oral instructions and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Comprehends written and spoken English.
• Regular attendance and reporting for work on time are necessary requirements.
• Availability / flexibility for overtime work is necessary.
• Occasional Saturday work may be required; working on another shift may be required.
• Must be conscientious and willing to assume responsibility.
• Takes initiative and maximizes time to ensure efficiencies.
• Physical demands/requirements as stated above.
