JOB TITLE: STOCKER ... A team atmosphere throughout the company has become a Cavender's tradition. CBC is a tightly staffed, "lean and mean" organization, with everyone pitching in when needed, regardless of rank or job function.
SUPERVISOR: STORE MANAGER JOB SUMMARY
Stockers are to receive, price, sensor (if applicable) and inspect freight. Stockers must be proficient in all aspects of the CBC stocking system and knowledgeable of all paperwork associated with each stocking function. Stockers must prioritize merchandise by order of importance (i.e., empty wrangler shelves should be restocked before empty polish racks are restocked). Stockers are also responsible for keeping the store neat and clean inside and outside.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
β’ Perform stocking tasks accurately and efficiently.
β’ Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
β’ Be knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures.
β’ Be knowledgeable of all CBC stocking procedures:
β’ Return to Stock (RTS) Tagging merchandise
β’ Return to Vendor (RTV) Sensor tagging merchandise (if applicable)
β’ Validating packing slips
β’ Keep backstock moving out to the sales floor to the proper locations.
β’ Report to work promptly, neatly groomed and appropriately dressed.
β’ Be security conscious at all times.
β’ Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
β’ Work with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desire goals set by the company. (i.e. Web order completion rate, Company or Vendor contests)
β’ In the event you are required to help customers on the sales floor: Ensure you deliver the B.E.S.T customer service. (Be inviting: ensure your building and staff looks great. Exceed expectation: be the expert and train your staff to be knowledgable. Suggestive selling: be aware of all sales and ensure you help each guest find what they are looking for. Thank and invite: ensure we tell each guest how much we appreciate them for picking Cavender's.
