Position Title: Auto Palletizer

Shift: Gray Nights 7p-7a
• *Offering $2.00 Night Shift Premium for hours worked 7p-7a**
Base Rate: $21.19
Position Purpose:
Primary duties, include the following, other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for running the auto-palletizer machine, assist in loading finished product, packaging supplies and other items for shipping. Verifies and keeps accurate records on out going shipments. Prepares items for shipment. Facilitate quick changeovers by cleaning, emptying trays and tubs, and assisting where needed. May be required to provide coverage or train on other shifts as needed. Performs other tasks as designated by TA/TL. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL.
Essential Functions:
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines.
• Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.
• Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements.
• Must be able to read production orders, while remaining flexible to changes to meet customer needs.
• Loads designated magazines with Blue Chep pallets, plain pallets, plastic skid liners and card board liners.
• Record Product Information by counting, scanning and if necessary weighing outgoing items.
• Verify load sheet information against product or item information.
• Verify bills of lading information against invoices, orders, or other records.
• Affixes identifying UPC information and shipping instructions onto product or items shipped.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet product and/or item specifications.
• Enter correct information to set automatic feed for number of cases specified per layer.
• Enters correct information that automatically counts and stacks specified number of boxes in desired arrangement.
• Adjust opening or alignment of feed mechanism to size of item.
• Clears jams and adjusts machine to correct malfunction.
• Maintain Process Control Points, record data accordingly.
• Must be able to bend over, squat, twist and stoop during the performance of work duties.
• Keep area clean and free of debris.

Working Conditions:
• High noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
• Temperatures range from approximately 40 – 50 degrees.
