Qualifications
Job Overview ... Under direction of Materials and Warehouse Manager, provides leadership, coordinates, and participates in the work of Inventory Control Clerks. This includes ordering, inventorying, receiving, stocking, issuing, shipping, and maintaining supplies, parts and materials.
What you will be doing:
• Coordinates and participates in the work of Inventory Control Clerks by taking physical inventory and determining minimum and maximum inventory levels.
• Coordinates and participates in the work of Inventory Control Clerks in checking materials received for correct quantity, description, specification, and condition and recording transactions.
• Coordinates meeting with user departments and contractors to establish quality control standards for requested item(s)
• Serves as a liaison between PMM, Business Unit Staff, contractors, and Suppliers in resolving inventory related issues.
• Reviews and tracks the status of requisitions and purchase orders.
• Coordinates and participates in the work of Inventory Control Clerks in stocking warehouse items and rearranging warehouse supplies, parts, and materials in accordance with accepted warehouse standards and good housekeeping practices.
• Supports Materials and Warehouse Manager in the disposition of surplus and abandoned property in accordance with State Laws
• Makes daily changes on Oracle Fusion inventory management system involving inventory, minimum and maximum changes, descriptions, manufacturers, item deletion.
What you need:
• Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of warehousing experience including inventorying, receiving, stocking, issuing, shipping, material handling, and record keeping of warehouse items.
• Possession of a valid class C driver's license.
What we desire:
• Experience working with Oracle Fusion software.
• Experience working with RF Smart barcode hardware/software.
• Supervisory Experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
• Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et. Al. and DFW Airport's Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
