The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movements, and ensuring efficient material handling within the organization. This role requires a combination of strong organizational skills, attention to ... detail, and proficiency in material handling procedures.
1st shift material handler for production department
Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (8:30 a.m. on their first day)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, to transport materials within the facility.
Ensure that materials are handled in a manner that prevents damage and maintains product quality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to material movements.
Generate reports on material usage, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics as needed.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating material handling equipment.
Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read, write and preform basic math,
2 plus years of Material Handling
High school diploma or GED
Strong inventory tracking skills
Current DL
