Administrative Assistant ( Event Experience Preferred)
Job Description ... Our client, an established law firm is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant with a flair for event coordination to join their DEI team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, as well as coordinating various events and functions.
Location: New York, NY
Pay: $28/hr-$33/hr
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute events, ensuring all logistical requirements are met.
• Assist in budget management for events, including tracking expenses and maintaining financial records.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff attending events or conferences.
• Prepare and distribute event materials, including agendas, presentations, and name tags.
• Assist in post-event activities, such as collecting feedback, analyzing event success, and preparing reports.
• Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other documents related to event planning and administrative tasks.
• Serve as a point of contact for event-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform general office duties, such as filing, copying, and ordering supplies, as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role, preferably with event coordination responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred.
