About Our Team
Sponsored Brands (SB) and Sponsored Display (SD) are Amazon Advertising’s self-service brand growth and display performance advertising products that empowers any advertiser – regardless of budget size, advertising experience, or technical expertise – to reach audiences across a variety of supply.
Our team (ACES) is responsible for unifying SB and SD advertising products into Brand growth and performance advertising at scale. This includes defining and building advertiser controls, experiences and recommendations, and advertiser success. We succeed when advertisers are able to grow their brand and business at scale with our advertising product(s).
About This Role
The Principal Product Manager - Technical role is the product lead for Targeting Evolution and Experiences, and is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this program and working with strategic partners to create and build innovative experiences.
The person in this role will be required to think big, dive deep, have bias for action, and bring a history of delivering results to Amazon’s advertising solutions. You will work with a cross-functional team, engaging directly with customers of all sizes and teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the vision, strategy and success measurement to help brands increase the effectiveness of their ad creative.
• Exhibit deep analytical ability and develop great expertise in Amazon’s proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyze and communicate data and insights to our advertisers.
• Set the direction and priorities for your team and help to develop your team professionally via direct coaching.
• Partner effectively with other leaders in product, design, engineering, science and business intelligence to influence priorities and drive alignment.
• Plan and deliver on executive level goals.
• Monitor project execution and ensuring that the delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates.

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
