Part-Time Event Setup and Breakdown Team – Long Island / Hamptons

Our team members will be responsible for the following:
• Provide pre-event setup including transporting event rentals to the venue in a truck or van and drop-off of event rentals at the venue
• Provide post-event breakdown and cleanup including (i) discarding and / or transferring florals to alternative vessels per floral designer instructions, (ii) packing all event decor (i.e. candles, vessels, props) into assigned boxes / crates and onto the truck, and (iii) discarding of all post-event debris and leaving the venue spotless
• Before departure, conduct post-event inventory check
• Return the truck and all items to Port Washington, NY
Qualifications
• Local to Long Island with access to a car/transportation to and from Long Island / Hamptons
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English
• Willing to work on an as-needed-basis, primarily weekends and after hours during wedding season from April - November
• Must have a pickup truck or van-size truck to transport event rentals to and from locations in Long Island
• 4-6 hour shifts
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
