Insight Global is looking for a Packaging Technician to join a large consumer goods company in Stamford CT. As a packaging technician this person will be supporting the packaging engineers and coordinate materials, testing, test reports, and some administration work with regards to new product launches and product/package qualifications. They will assist in the design and development of project ... related packaging components and work with cross functional team members to drive projects to completion. The lab contains various different test machines like a compression tester, pump force tester, vacuum chamber, wall thickness measurement, bottle fillers, heat sealers for films/pouches and tubes. The technician would learn how to use these (training and written procedures provided), perform these tests, and provide the data and results in typed reports. In addition, this role will manage the stability testing and qualification of new bottle blow molds in their formulas. Concise documentation and reporting is critical in this role. The position will be supported and directed by another Lab Technician and staff Packaging Engineer
