We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented analyst to bolster our Prime Video Channels content acquisition team. As a Content Acquisition Analyst, you will lead deal tracking and reporting while being instrumental in analysis and strategic projects to support both deal negotiations and ongoing partner management.

Key job responsibilities
• Maintain contract database and lead deal tracking initiatives.
• Identify rights and blockers for new initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analyses to partner teams.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to inform partner management strategy.
• Provide deal analysis and analytical support of deal negotiations and partner management.
• Drive strategic projects to enhance the effectiveness of content acquisition processes.
About The Team
The Content Acquisition & Management team is responsible for the end-to-end content acquisition process - from negotiating deals to managing ongoing relationships with our content providers to help them navigate Amazon, ensure the growth of their business and the best experience for their customers. We work with premier streaming channels such as Max, Paramount+, Starz, Britbox, PBS Masterpiece, and more, ensuring Prime Video not only provides an unparalleled selection of entertainment options for customers but solidifies its position as the foremost choice for strategic partnerships.

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in consulting, licensing, business development, finance or a similar field
• Experience reading and analyzing legal documentation and contracts and drawing accurate conclusions
• Experience analyzing data in Excel
• Experience managing multiple priorities and thriving in a fast-paced environment, with experience quickly adapting to new concepts
• Experience thinking innovatively while also diving deep into intricate details
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Database building experience
• Movies & TV distribution/licensing experience
• Knowledge of the digital video landscape, including a strong understanding of digital video distribution technologies and deal structures
• Self-starter who is customer obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $49,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $119,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
