The Delivery Technician is responsible for the delivery and pickup of equipment and supplies throughout the surrounding areas ... This position is responsible for teaching patients/caregivers on the use, maintenance, care, safety and troubleshooting of non-life support home medical equipment.
No experience necessary; on the job training provided! This is a great position for individuals who don't enjoy sitting behind a computer all day.
There is a great deal of daily, local travel involved, visiting hospitals and patient's homes and teaching them about the equipment.
If you are outgoing and enjoy interaction with people then this is the right job for you! We are seeking:
Someone who can work Friday - Tuesday (Mon, Tue, Fri noon - 9:
00PM; Sat/Sun 9:
00AM - 6:
00PM) High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs (without assistance) Willingness to be on-call Ability to pass drug test plus criminal, reference, and background checks including MVR check.
Responsibilities:
Will complete equipment deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
Stock vehicles with appropriate equipment.
With training, be familiar with and adhere to all regulatory and safety procedures that apply to the delivery of oxygen.
