Job Title: RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
Reports To: RETAIL OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER ... GENERAL SCOPE OF POSITION:
We’re looking for a retail sales associate to support Bella Cucina’s flagship store in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. This role will be responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability through creative sales skills and merchandising techniques, customer service and teamwork. You will participate in all activities affecting the store and its operation, including store sales, customer relations, merchandising, display and design, as well as supporting classes, workshops and events in the storeXstudio. Training is required in order to understand and support the retail model.
This role is perfect for you if you’re naturally outgoing and love connecting and engaging with people. You have a passion for food and art and like to express yourself creatively. You have previous experience working in retail or hospitality. Potential to grow from part to full time with apprenticeship opportunities available within an expanding team. Weekends required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service and Sales
• Focus on promoting sales and meeting goals
• Model and reinforce customer service standards, maintaining company service philosophy and culture through leadership style and associate training.
• Make recommendations to Retail Operations Leader regarding bi-weekly meeting agenda
• Conduct training and development of all associates in all systems and procedures, selling and service skills and product knowledge using all training resources • Develop monthly and seasonal sales specials
Visual Merchandising :
• Maintain and supervise merchandising standards with regards to selling, stocking, cleaning and maintenance
• Keep current on all product information
Personnel
• Have an awareness of all resources for training and develop new ones when needed
Financial/Operations
• Maximize effective floor coverage
• Make recommendation to Retail Operations Leader regarding store sales and payroll budgets and manage controllable costs
• Assist with inventory and analyze results
• Support fiscal responsibility of store and supply financial reports to Retail Operations Leader
• Be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of store and work place safety
• Possess a working knowledge of all systems and procedures
Leadership/Communication
• Present enthusiasm toward the job and company, a positive attitude, and an ability to effectively communicate and problem solve
• Have a strong, positive personal presence
• Possess a good knowledge of cooking, eating and serving good food
