What's Proof of Pudding?
Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning leader in catering and event planning! We're the best of the best, literally. We work with the Olympics, Presidential Administrations, PGA tours, Motorsports racing, the Atlanta Hawks, Zoo Atlanta, yacht shows and more! This role will serve at different events around the Atlanta area, not just one location. You'll play an important role in providing excellent service at a range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale festivities!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Have amazing customer service and hospitality skills, be friendly to all guests.
• Ensure the setting of tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table.
• Set buffet stations which may include décor.
• Set up tables and chairs in event spaces and the breakdown of event spaces.
• Unloading/loading event trucks.
• Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.
• Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the banquet team members, and all other members of the front and back of the house to ensure flawless customer service.
• Wear company uniform and maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
• Help set up, attend and breakdown events at Zoo Atlanta
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Knows about of upscale/VIP service styles
• Knows about food and beverage catering equipment and set-up
• Must live near or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
• Has catering and/or food & beverage operations experience
• Can perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.
• Has amazing customer service and hospitality skills, is a team player and pays attention to details!

Proof of the Pudding has spent 40+ years providing innovative menus, services, design expertise and event experiences to clients throughout Atlanta and beyond. As a preferred caterer to 50+ venues in and around Atlanta, our Off-Premise team spearheads event innovations and culinary experiences to a range of events from weddings, holiday parties, corporate retreats, and social gatherings. We are seeking additional Event Servers to help facilitate off-premise events and to provide Front of House support at events. This position will report to our corporate office in West Midtown and will travel to events throughout the Atlanta Metro area and beyond. This position will require traversing different terrains while lifting and moving product, equipment, and food items. This position could also drive or ride to events across the greater Atlanta region where the work environments may be buildings, temporary structures, or outdoors
