We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role will provide frontline service and support to Agents for our client, a Florida-based insurance company specializing in personal residential property coverage. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for working with Agents to address questions about their insureds (customer's) insurance policy. The primary responsibility of this position is handling calls and chat inquires to resolution ensuring necessary actions occur as promised to the Agent once the call is completed. Additional job responsibilities include:
• Utilizing the policy management system to issue endorsements, answer questions, document conversations and files.
• Processing corrections and/or adjusts records as necessary and within company policy and procedure guidelines.
• Communicating effectively with individuals/teams in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests.
• Reviewing, organizing and forwarding information to other areas for handling or consideration.
We are looking for highly-motivated professionals who enjoy working with and helping others, to join our team. Other candidate qualifications and skills include:
• 1-2 years of Customer Service experience in a high-volume agency or service center environment.
• Insurance experience, including homeowners/personal property lines highly preferred.
• An active 4-40 license a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with proficient data entry skills and the ability to understand and correctly utilize multiple computer systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to confidently interact with and influence customers.
• Strong customer service, problem solving and resolution skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information.
