.The Packaging Technician is responsible for assisting in general packaging operations tasks with additional scheduled maintenance duties while maintaining compliance with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and FDA requirements.
The Packaging Technician is responsible for following SOP’s and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s) while assisting as a multi-role ... support for the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
• Complies with current SOP’s and cGMP’s.
• Able to lift to 40lbs and stay on feet for long periods
• Ensures that the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available, used properly and other safety procedures are understood and followed.
• Able to take direction and maintain fast pace in a manufacturing environment
• Works within team environment to complete tasks and schedules dictated by management
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and clean room area per SOP’s.
• Assist with any activities on the production line from cleaning to station operation (Case Packing, Material Loading, Palletizing)
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Takes responsibility for Scheduled Maintenance activities per SOP’s and documentation of them.
• Assists in a general Maintenance, Adjustment, Repair capacity as needed outside of general packaging activities.
• Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
• 1-5 years of Manufacturing/Production Experience Preferred
• Maintenance Mechanic/Maintenance Background Highly Desired
• Mechanical Aptitude is required
• Must Pass Drug Test and background check prior to Employment.
• Language: English Required (Read, Write, and Comprehend.)
