Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be part of our team as we expand our portfolio. Our newest addition, The Lofton Hotel, is a downtown Minneapolis, full-service, $15M revenue property that is the first hotel in the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Minnesota ... What you will be doing:
· Check guests in and out of room.
· Input and retrieve information routinely from computer system. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs.
· Respond to guest requests and handle guest issues or report complaints to management.
· Promptly answer the phone in a professional and clear manner.
· Input all information into computer to communicate guest requests.
· Answer guest questions regarding area or hotel, outlet information and services.
· Greet and welcome guest as they arrive at the hotel.
What we are looking for:
· Excellent customer service skills are required.
· Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts.
· Previous receptionist, customer service, front desk or administrative experience preferred.
