This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in Dallas on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
About the Role ... The Manager, Account Management role is critical to growing Uber Eats in Texas and Oklahoma! This position manages and drives the success of a team of individual contributors whose core responsibilities focus on the retention and growth of our Restaurant Partner base.
This is a multi-faceted role in that it requires you to be a strong people leader with a shown ability to lead your team's efforts and drive key business metrics. It will also take a people-first approach to develop and mentor both individual contributors and manager-level team members across the Account Management organization. Bonus points for knowing the local restaurant industry!
What You'll Do
• Work closely with the Territory Lead in charge of shaping and leading the cities to success, delivering an outstanding service to our users while building a financially sustainable business (you will have your own geographical area to develop)
• Strategy: Lead your market by defining business priorities, set results-oriented timelines to reach those goals and take financial decisions
• Account Management: Your primary focus will be on helping our existing and newly onboarded brands grow and increase their sales on the platform.
• Local restaurant partners relations: Manage partner development, supervise operational metrics, and ensure high-quality experiences on the Uber Eats system to provide the most reliable food delivery service in town.
Basic Qualifications
• 4+ years proven experience in Account Management or Sales organizations
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Experience in operations management, management consulting, strategy work in a large business or growing a start-up.
• Strong understanding of SQL and analytical capabilities
• An entrepreneurial mentality, passion for building things, working towards a shared goal, and ownership of outcomes
• Extensive track record of Seller/Account Management coaching, developing people, and building successful teams
• Excellent at building and auditing Account Management processes along with analyzing and articulating problems and opportunities therein
• High EQ and natural interpersonal skills. A connector and expert communicator
• Ability to take initiative and easily adapt to constantly-changing work environment
• Hands-on and eagerness to implement operational schemes in your own city portfolio
• Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through analytical thinking
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$107,000 per year - USD$119,000 per year.
