We are expanding our Finance Team, and we are hiring a Senior Accountant AP, Treasury, Tax!
The Senior Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial records, prepares and analyzes financial reports, and support month-end and year-end close processes. This role also assists with audits, reconciliations, and special projects to ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational goals
Work Schedule: 9:00 PM-6:00 AM (PH Time)
Work Set up: Hybrid (90 % remote)

Responsibilities
- Review and validate vendor invoices, reimbursements, and payment requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable aging and payment schedules to ensure timely disbursements.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
- Prepare and execute payments through online banking platforms, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
- Monitor daily cash balances and funding requirements, coordinating with internal teams and banking partners as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all payment and treasury transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and support general ledger activities during month-end and year-end close.
- Prepare financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for internal reporting and analysis.
- Prepare and assist in filing Philippine tax returns (VAT, withholding taxes, corporate income tax) using eFPS or eBIRForms.
- Maintain tax schedules and reconciliations, including VAT, withholding taxes, and tax payable accounts.
- Ensure timely issuance, tracking, and reconciliation of BIR Form 2307.
- Support preparation and submission of regulatory requirements (BIR filings, SEC reports, LGU compliance, BOI reports if applicable).
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties across all financial processes.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation for all financial and compliance activities.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate discrepancies, risks, or control gaps, and support resolution efforts.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field required.
Minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to accounts payable, treasury, and Philippine tax compliance.
Hands-on experience with Philippine tax filings, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax.
Familiarity with BIR systems such as eFPS or eBIRForms.
Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage preferred but not required.
Experience in shared services or outsourced accounting environments preferred.
Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance reporting preferred.
