Credence has an immediate opening for an Imagery Analyst IV to provide senior-level image science and analytic support to the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC). This role requires deep technical expertise in image science, remote sensing, and computational imaging, combined with the ability to develop, validate, and transition advanced image processing techniques in classified environments.
The Imagery Analyst IV operates as a recognized subject matter expert, supporting high‑priority and complex analytic efforts, contributing to mission-critical research, and enabling improved image quality, product effectiveness, and analytic outcomes for Government customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Provide senior-level image science and imagery analysis expertise in support of NEI and ISR missions
- Research, develop, test, and validate advanced image processing and enhancement techniques to improve image quality and analytic utility
- Apply expertise in remote sensing and sensor phenomenology to interpret imagery-derived data and inform analytic conclusions
- Develop and refine algorithms and computational imaging methods, ensuring repeatability, traceability, and documentation of assumptions and limitations
- Conduct scientific programming to support image exploitation, modeling, simulation, and analytic tool development
- Support analysis using Government-provided datasets, tools, and classified analytic environments while maintaining strict adherence to security requirements
- Document analytic methods, algorithms, and results in support of Government review, acceptance, and operational transition
- Collaborate with Government analysts, mission partners, and technical staff to support integrated analytic efforts and special projects
- Contribute to briefings, reports, and decision-support materials for senior Government stakeholders as required
Education, Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current special access program (SAP) access desired
- Master’s Degree in Image Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related scientific or engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in image science, image processing, remote sensing and sensor phenomenology, computational imaging, scientific programming, algorithm development and analysis, or equivalent experience / responsibility
Work Environment
- On-site support within secure Government facilities
- Standard duty hours are Monday–Friday during Government operating hours, with potential surge or off-hours support as required by mission needs
