Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately code observation surgery records in compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
- Utilize EPIC software to perform coding tasks efficiently (preferred experience).
- Ensure coding accuracy and completeness to support proper billing and reimbursement processes.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maintain high-quality coding standards.
- Stay updated on coding regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Job Requirements:
- CCS credential required.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent observation coding experience.
- Familiarity with EPIC software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability for at least 20 hours per week, with flexible days and hours.
Additional Candidate Requirements: Applicants must:
- Successfully pass a pre-employment coding proficiency test to demonstrate expertise.
- Undergo and pass a criminal record, OIG, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
