SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, protects the firm from internal and external security threats.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and audit The Firm’s information and security systems to identify security anomalies. Duties include performing real time and post analysis of security incident occurrences using investigative techniques to determine validity and appropriate responsive actions.
- Support others in security problems and emergencies; assist in troubleshooting and resolution of security production problems.
- Perform day to day operations and review of the intrusion detection and content filtering systems.
- Assist in implementing solutions to address security needs.
- Assist in incident response and forensic system analysis.
- Perform routine maintenance of all security monitoring systems.
- Configure security tools following established procedures and documentation
- Update and maintain system security diagrams and documentation.
- Respond to investigation support requests from the Legal and HR departments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Diploma and 0-2 years of experience with information security or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have experience working with the following operating systems: UNIX and Windows including scripting interfaces, network equipment, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, ,databases, proprietary software and systems interoperability.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) preferred.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel as needed (Up to 20%).
