TRC Talent is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician for our client in Acworth
Job Summary:
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.
Job Details:
- 2nd Shift, 2PM-10:30PM(train on 1st 6AM-2:30PM)
- $23/hr+(based on experience)
- Temp to Hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and related issues on machinery and equipment.
- Perform timely repairs to maintain efficient operations.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
- Handle facility/building maintenance tasks and minor repairs, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or refurbished units.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
- Recommend and coordinate work-related contracts and third-party services.
- Supervise outside contractors as needed for maintenance projects.
- Learn to operate our Waterjet Machine and become a resource on its maintenance and functionality.
- Support and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives.
- Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy industrial equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Technical certificate or college degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Strong safety mindset
