Position Summary
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Hybrid Benefits Administrator to manage employee benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries, enrollments, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will ensure benefits programs are administered accurately and in compliance with federal and company policies.
This role requires strong organizational skills, benefits knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits Administration
- Manage enrollment, changes, and terminations for employee benefits programs.
- Assist employees with benefits questions, claims, and program navigation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company benefits regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS systems.
- Generate reports on benefits enrollment, participation, and trends.
Employee Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Coordinate benefits communications and open enrollment events.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and reporting.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance benefits processes and employee satisfaction.
- Support audits and compliance reporting for benefits programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting hybrid or multi-state workforce benefits administration.

Work Environment
