Sigma Defense is currently seeking a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering student to fill our Software Engineering Intern part-time role in support of our Electronic Warfare (EW) training systems work in Fairmont, WV.

- Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Comfortable with containerized development workflows.
- Working knowledge of C++, Python and Bash scripting.
- Ability to follow direction of a Mentor/Supervisor.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Math or physics background a plus.
- Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment to assist in developing custom software applications in support of our DoD customers.
- The design, building, refactoring, and modernizing of C++ code and associated containerization.
- This is an on site position, remote work is not possible.
Pay Range: $25.00 per hour.
